Discovery call

We love to make this as easy and smooth as possible with expectations in check. When your inquiry comes in we’ll give you a call to talk through what your needs are. Questions like when you want to shoot, turn around time, and budget. On that note all prices are project based. For example you want a brand video. Could be you need a full day or a few days with different locations. With that price varies. So to make sure goals are met we’ll discuss what the goals are and how to financially and physically reach those goals within your budget. All that is what we call a discovery call.

Pre Production

Once we settle on a price and the contract is signed we move to pre production. This is where the heavy lifting is done so we don’t waste time or money. Pre production for us is talking about how we’re going to capture what you need for your project. To keep the brand video example in play we’ll likely plan an interview session and then a B-roll session. Those could be one day a piece in case they are in a different locations, but likely that in of itself is a day shoot. And usually interviews are done first. During the pre production call we’ll carve out what questions need to be answered during the interview. Who you are? Why you’re different? What your process is? Your why. You’ll answer these and i’ll write down your answers and questions to ask again in person. Often times they’re slightly different or i’ll coach you how to say the same thing but in a shorter answer to fit in the final video time limit. This is also around the time you send me your logos, scripts, color schemes and such. Now that leads us to shoot day.

Shoot day!!

We’re here!! All that planning being put into practice. let’s talk time again. There’s set up time, shoot time, tear down time. Set up time includes arrival, a quick meeting with you and in person intros to briefly go over what we planned, and then actual set up time. All that is usually an hour so that is included in the day. Shoot time usually always goes over so we always add buffer time. Typically an extra hour for b-roll set up time (half hour or so). Sweet, we shot everything we need to. Time to it post production.

Post Production

We’ve backed up your footage, sat down with a delicious cup of coffee, and got to work on your video. In a couple of days we have a rough cut of what we discussed for video length, vibe, graphics, and logos. We send it over to your for your first revision. Speaking of that you get 3 revisions. What to look for in revisions? Short answer; do you like it? Longer answer; does it fit the message you need to say? Does it match your brand? If not, let us know what needs to be changed and we gotchu! Our mission is that the first (or realistically second) cut is the one you use.
